Updated Laser Use policy

More time for members!

ADX is always trying to update facilities and policies to better serve our members. Up until recently our Fab team has had the laser reserved for most weekday hours  for scheduled jobs and emergency use. Now, due to streamlining of work flow, our Fab team is able to reserve smaller blocks of time. This means that Monday through Friday the laser will now much more available for reservations!

Interested in using the Laser cutter for a project? First, all members must take our Laser Cutter Basics course to become familiar with the equipment and safety. Outside of the class you must have at least a basic membership to use the laser cutter. Next simply reserve a time to use the laser cutter, anyone at the front desk will be able to help you! When you are finished, report your laser usage time to the front desk and pay for the time you used. The price for laser use is $25/ half hour.
