Ben will facilitate the first two classes while students focus on building their custom handle; Hunter will work with everyone during the final class to sharpen each blade like a professional.

Students will build their own Shaker-style live-edge bench or small table. Take the project from blueprint through completion, learn to both organize and conceptualize a furniture project, and gain familiarity with the wood shop environment. The content and combination of machinery used will expand students abilities to problem solve and make confident independent decisions outside of the classroom.
