Table Saw Basics
Build a simple trinket box with a fitted lid while learning how to make the most of our SawStop Table Saw, including miter cuts and how to install and use a dado stack. Students will start by cutting material to dimension, move to hollowing out a box with the dado stack, cut tenons and miters for the box top, and complete a basic assembly using wood glue and clamps.
TOOLS and MATERIALS
ADX provides all the necessary tools and materials, including saw blades, sleds, safety equipment, and hardwood.
This is not a class for beginners, but rather for students who have already spent time in a shop using a table saw, and are looking for ways to maximize their use of the tool. Intro to Wood and a personal project or two are a good way to prepare for this class, too.
Zach has been an integral part of the ADX community for a while now. You may have seen him with an orange bandana and a broom, supporting members with their projects, or just helping wherever he’s needed. As an instructor, Zach is resourceful, patient, and excited to work with you!
A NOTE ABOUT CLASS SIZE
Classes are limited to 4 students to ensure lots of hands-on time with the tools and personal attention from the instructor. If the class is sold out but you’re still interested in this particular class, we can add your name to a waitlist and will contact you if a ticket becomes available. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
